George Wolff was trained as an organic geochemist (BSc and PhD Bristol) and, after a 2 year Royal Society Fellowship in Strasbourg, spent his career at the University of Liverpool.
His research interests include aspects of the organic carbon cycle, particularly in using molecular markers to understand the source and fate of organic matter in the ocean.
