Several CAO investigators from all four projects will be attending the Ocean Sciences Meeting:
Monday 12 February
- Dr Neil Banas, Arctic PRIZE and DIAPOD investigator, presents his research at 11.30 am in room E143-E144: “Are Arctic productivity hotspots sources or sinks? A trait-based approach to mesozooplankton life history and energetics along advective corridors“
Wednesday 14 February
- Dr Kate Hendry, ChAOS investigator, presents her research at 8.30 am in room D139-D140: “High-latitude shelf seas and the global silicon budget: The role of sediment-water interactions in the supply of nutrients to the oceans.”
Thursday 15 February
- Dr Claire Mahaffey, ARISE lead investigator, presents her research during the poster session, 4.00 to 6.00 pm, in the poster hall: “Can we detect changes in Arctic ecosystems? (ARISE)”
- Trevor Sloughter, Arctic PRIZE investigator, presents his research during the poster session, 4.00 to 6.00 pm, in the poster hall: “Integrating Seasonality into Models of Arctic Phytoplankton“
Friday 16 February
- Dr Laura Hobbs, Arctic PRIZE investigator, presents her research at 9.00 am in room C123-C124: “Application of a life-history model to investigate inter-annual variation in the energetic trade-offs of Arctic copepods.”
