Dr Lewis Drysdale

Postdoctoral researcher, National Oceanography Centre (NOC)

I am a physical oceanographer based at the National Oceanography Centre in Liverpool where I specialise in polar and temperate shelf-sea dynamics.

My Arctic research is focused around the seasonal dynamics of shelf seas driven by changes in temperature and salinity, the impact of sea ice on water mass transformation and mixing, and the interaction of freshwater from glaciers and sea-ice melt with coastal currents.

PEANUTS is co-funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and by NERC.
