I am a physical oceanographer based at SAMS, with interests in shelf edge exchange processes and both horizontal and vertical mixing.

Within Arctic PRIZE I will be using gliders, AUVs, seal tags and many other hydrographic data available to  investigate the changing fate of Atlantic water and ice melt water as the seasons progress from winter through to summer.

I am particularly interested in how changing sea ice cover will effect vertical mixing and the impacts of this on nutrient availability.
