Dr Helen Parry

Co-investigator, Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML)

Helen Parry is a research scientist, based at Plymouth Marine Laboratory, who has over 10 years’ experience in the field of molecular biology and is skilled in a wide range of molecular techniques.

She has used high-throughput sequencing techniques to identify both holoplankton and meroplankton in natural assemblages. Most recently she has used this technique to determine the gut contents of jellyfish and larval fish in order to investigate trophic interactions and possible overlaps in prey.

Helen is a co-investigator on the DIAPOD project.
