Westcountry Wonderwomen inspire students
8th March 2018
On the date of International Women’s Day, the Westcountry Wonderwomen Workshop brought together local leading ladies across a wide range of sectors (artists, scientists, pilots, surgeons, engineers and entrepreneurs).
They gave inspiring talks to college and secondary students as part of the 2018 campaign theme “Press for Progress” about gender equality.
Dr Pennie Lindeque (DIAPOD project) was an invited speaker at the event, in her role as a molecular ecologist.
Read more about the event in the Kingsbridge & Salcombe Gazette and the Devon Chronicler.
