Impacts of ocean acidification on commercial fish stocks

Carol Turley (PETRA project) attended and presented at a meeting on Ocean
Acidification in Reykjavik, Iceland, from 6-9 October 2018.
The key points from her talk were picked up by the local Icelandic press Visir in an article called “Hafið í framvarðarlínu loftslagsbreytinga.”
The article is extensive, with the main message being
Dr Carol Turley, a marine expert, says it is necessary to investigate the effects of acidification because of uncertainties about the impact on the marine environment and on commercial fish stocks. The ocean is at the forefront of climate change.
