Dr Myriel Vredenborg

Postdoctoral Researcher, Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI)

I am an environmental scientist by education and recently completed my PhD thesis in physical oceanography at the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) on freshwater variability in the Arctic Ocean and North Atlantic. I am a post-doctoral researcher at AWI in the working group Physical Oceanography of the Polar Seas.

In the APEAR project, I help obtaining new in situ data and will analyse observational and model data of the large-scale Arctic Ocean circulation and its physical and biogeochemical properties.

APEAR is co-funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and by NERC.
