Affiliated PhD student, National Oceanography Centre (NOC)

I’m a PhD student working with Katya Popova and Yevgeny Aksenov. My specialism is Lagrangian modelling of Arctic circulation pathways (e.g. https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/2017JC013460) and I’m interested in understanding changing advective pathways and their consequences.

Currently, I’m looking at changing pathways in the Beaufort Gyre region, and investigating how N. Seminae may have traversed the Arctic in the late 1990s. I am contributing to the APEAR project with my Lagrangian modelling expertise.

APEAR is co-funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and by NERC.
