Colin Stedmon is Associate Professor in the Section for Oceans and Arctic, at the National Institute for Aquatic Resources (AQUA), Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
His current Arctic research is focused on the biogeochemistry of nutrients and organic matter in freshwater and marine systems, ocean optics and tracing water mass mixing using chemical tracers.
Since 2015 he has also led the Danish Centre for Marine Science (DCH) which primarily funds research vessel ship time and facilitates oceanographic collaboration with the Danish Navy.
