I am a postdoctoral researcher in the MiMeMo project, working on the ecosystem modelling aspect.
During my PhD, my research focused on the krill dynamic in the subpolar region of the Gulf of St Lawrence on Canadian east coast. I developed bio-physical models to study the growth and reproduction phenologies of krill at different spatio-temporal scales.
I am working now on the biogeochimical modelling of the Arctic ecosystem in the MiMeMo project. My role in the project is to improve and adapt the model framework ECOSMO-E2E in the Barents Sea area. Work consists firstly to implement sea-ice biology and its interactions with the pelagic and benthic food web, as well as doing model simulations and analysis. Then to run the model for IPCC scenarios and to study ecosystem response to identify long term environmental change.
