Dr Jack Laverick

Postdoctoral researcher, University of Strathclyde

Jack is a postdoctoral researcher on the MiMeMo project, based at the University of Stathclyde, Scotland.

Jack has a PhD in environmental research from the University of Oxford, where he studied mesophotic coral ecosystems in Honduras. He used a mixture of machine learning, modelling, and systematic review to investigate changing community structure across depth gradients.

Jack will be using his skills in data synthesis to parameterise the StrathE2E marine food web model for the Arctic.

MiMeMo is co-funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and by NERC.
