Louisa Norman is a biogeochemist whose research interests include the cycling of nutrients and DOM in sea ice and brines, and how the complexation of iron with organic material affects primary productivity in the iron-limited waters such as the Southern Ocean.
She is the research technician for the ARISE project and is responsible for the organisation and mobilisation of the ship-based fieldwork and the on board sampling programme.
