Affiliated PhD student, MIT/WHOI

I am a graduate student in the MIT-WHOI Joint Program in Chemical Oceanography. My research is focused on the use of radium isotopes as tracers of fluxes and processes in high latitude environments.

As part of CACOON, I am measuring radium isotopes and trace metals to increase our understanding of residence times in the estuary, sources of water to the Kolyma estuary and East Siberian Sea, and trace metal fluxes to the coastal ocean in this highly seasonal environment.
