Robert Wilson is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Strathclyde and he works on the DIAPOD project.
His research interests include understanding the biogeography of species, modelling species populations and the impacts of climate change and human activities on the marine environment.
Robert’s main role in the DIAPOD project is to use an existing population of the copepod species Calanus finmarchicus to first understand what limits its current geographic distribution in the Arctic, and to then project the impact of climate change on this important species’ geographic range.
